Mancino's

For those that don't know me all that well (or those that don't live in Kalamazoo), one of my favorite dinner spots is Mancino's on Westnedge Avenue. The food is good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the people here know what I normally order. Since my girlfriend resides in Muskegon and is over an hour away, I frequently find myself on my own for dinner. Since I don't like cooking for one I tend to go out. Since I like Mancino's I end up there frequently... on the order of 3+ times a week.

Mancino's has, today, become even more glorious through the addition of a new piece of technology in my arsenal. One of my few gripes about Mancino's is that they don't have a wireless Internet connection. My new BlackBerry 7130e telephone has resolved the issue. I can plug the phone into my computer via a normal USB cable and can access the Internet at broadband speeds (800 kbps down, 100kbps up according to the test I just ran). I can now access the Internet regardless of location. I'm untethered at last and loving it. From Mancino's... signing off.

Charlotte Jane

Congratulations to Dave and Katie on the arrival of Charlotte Jane Baker. Charlotte was born the 5th of November at 4:04 pm. If I'm reading the picture right Charlotte weighs 8 lbs. 10 oz. Pictures are available on Dave's site here. I'm sure we'll be hearing more about Charlotte in the very near future and I'm looking forward to meeting her in person. Congratulations Dave and Katie, she's adorable!
